This website is run by Forecast Group through two specialist verticals: Forecast Builders (property sales and construction) and Forecast Marketing (sales and marketing for societies and developers). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Forecast Group and both verticals.

We are responsible for the personal information described here. Our head office is at Office No. 4, Ground Floor, Jinnah Trade Centre (JTC), Main Jinnah Avenue, Bahria Town Karachi. You can reach us about anything in this policy at forecastestate@gmail.com.

Information you give us. When you send an enquiry, message us on WhatsApp, call, email or meet us, you may share your name, phone number, email address and details of what you are looking for, such as preferred areas, plots, buildings or budget.

Information needed for a transaction. If you go on to buy, sell or book a property through us, we collect what the transaction and the law require: for example your CNIC or passport details, address, ownership and transfer documents, and payment records.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only if you allow them (see Cookies).

Information from others. We may receive your details from developers and societies we market for, from people who refer you to us, or from public sources such as property registers.

The enquiry form on this site does not store what you type. It writes your message and opens it in WhatsApp, and it reaches us only when you send it from there.

We use personal information to:

• reply to your enquiries and arrange calls, meetings and site visits;
• provide our services, including plot sales and purchases, project marketing and construction;
• prepare bookings, agreements, transfers and payment records;
• send you updates about projects or listings you have asked about, which you can stop at any time;
• understand how the website is used and improve it, where you have allowed analytics;
• meet our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations, including identity checks; and
• prevent fraud and protect our rights, our clients and our staff.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Where the law asks us to have a legal basis for using personal information, we rely on:

• Contract: to take the steps you request before a transaction, and to carry it out;
• Legal obligation: to keep the records and complete the checks required by law;
• Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, answer enquiries and keep our systems secure, where those interests are not outweighed by yours; and
• Consent: for optional cookies and marketing messages, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use essential cookies, which the site needs to work, without asking. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you agree to them in the cookie notice, and you can change your choice at any time.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed, with:

• the other company in Forecast Group, so the right desk can help you;
• developers and societies whose projects you have asked about, to process a booking or transfer;
• service providers who support our operations, such as website hosting, email, messaging (including WhatsApp) and, with your consent, analytics, under terms that protect your information;
• banks, lawyers, accountants and other professional advisers;
• government bodies, regulators, courts or law enforcement, when the law requires it; and
• a buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is reorganised or sold.

We work in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, and some of our service providers store data in other countries. When your information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to the standard described in this policy.

We keep enquiry details for up to two years after we last hear from you, unless you become a client. Records of transactions, bookings and payments are kept for as long as the law and our accounting obligations require. After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

We limit access to personal information to the people who need it, and use technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive documents through open channels unless we have asked for them.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information, or to limit how we use it;
• object to our use of it, including for direct marketing;
• withdraw consent you have given, without affecting what was done before; and
• complain to the data protection authority where you live.

To make a request, email forecastestate@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we aim to reply within 30 days.

Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.

This site links to other services, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and the websites of developers we work with. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and if a change is significant we will make it clear on the website.
